When you invite Cruising America to do a review of your RV Park, we are NOT doing an inspection or a report of any kind. What we do is simply write about our experiences with RV park and post this review online so that the 80,000+ folks who visit our websites each day will have a chance to share our experience and learn more about you and your business.
A review of a business involves the exchange of a full hookup site for one night for the review of our experiences to be posted online. While at the review location, we will take photos around the property to use in the review. There is no charge for the review, which will remain online in our review section, and you may link to that review from your website if you choose.
Each review includes a link back to the your website. And will include one of our little carousels in your listing with us (either a free or upgrade listing - there is no requirement to get an upgrade listing in order to have a review), so that other folks can share our experience and perhaps find out a little more about you and your area.
PLEASE NOTE: As the owners of A Winding Road (formerly Cruising America), we are currently unable to travel to do campground reviews - our business simply has gotten too busy at the moment!
So, why do we do this?
We love to travel and have met so many wonderful folks along the way! We have found that our clients (over 8,000 of you now!) are very loyal and we want to do everything we can to promote your businesses as we travel.
Our lifestyle and way of doing business are unique. We can experience what this great country has to offer, share this information with the world and at the same time introduce A Winding Road (formerly Cruising America) AND our clients to more people. During each tour, we hand out thousands of business cards. Sometimes we get puzzled looks as we explain what it is we do, but more often we see the fruits of our labors. As we travel down any highway, folks will pass us, honk the horn & wave.......or come up to us at a stop and tell us "I've been to your site!" or "I know about Cruising America!".........and we know that they have visited our sites AND the sites of our clients!
Sometimes it may take as long as two years or more before we get to your area (we have a overstuffed, 10-inch notebook of requested reviews!)....this is a BIG place....but we hope to get to all of you eventually!
Not being independently wealthy, our tours are broken up by 1-2 month "work breaks" when we simply must stop for a while to catch up, release new guides and prepare the bank accounts for the next trip out!
(Having all this fun while working can be very expensive but we try to live by the following philosophy!)
