American Heritage RV Park
Williamsburg, Virginia

As we pulled into this park, we knew we would like it here! The grounds were spotless and even through the gloomy day, we could see flowers blooming and quite a few RVs in the park even this early in the season.

The office and registration area boasted a great sitting area, videos for loan and a table and chair with a modem hookup for those of us who need to get our email while on the road. Everything was spotless and well taken care of.

Across the street from the office, is the swimming pool (a little chilly yet for this to be open!) and a great clubhouse. As Mike roamed the park taking pictures, I discovered a treasure trove for me.........mountains of books for trading! The building also houses a lounge and laundry room.

The sites are large and level with picnic tables and many with concrete pads and Cable TV. Full hookups are available and there are nature trails, open meadows, a dog run, basketball court, volleyball area and softball field. The bath houses are conveniently located. Our site had a concrete pad and we hooked up and settled in for a relaxing evening with Lexxus.

This Good Sam Park is also a member of AAA, ARVC Escapees. Located so close to Williamsburg, it is a great spot to use as your home base as you explore the Old Towne and Colonial Williamsburg. So check out their Website and make your plans to visit the area!
