Aquia Pines
Stafford, Virginia

Mike's mother, Nira was with us on this segment of the Eastern tour. So with her and Lexxus in the motorhome, we headed off towards Washington, DC and the closest campground to the Capitol we could find. What a place!

One of the first things Mike noticed was the new RV sites under construction to be able to bring the very latest services available to the RVer. Kathy and Kevin got us on-line and hooked into the internet from our site. It's a good thing we were near a local access provider.

The pool was full of people, of every age group having fun. There were kids playing basketball, putt-putt golf, roasting marshmellows and even a birthday party under the pavillion.

The store had a meeting area in the back and was stocked full of everything you could need for a great time at the park. The restrooms were clean.

We grilled steaks and sat around playing Yatzee. Later we took a walk around and saw this park for the tremendous place it is. Then we stopped back by the store and really enjoyed our visit with Debbie and Everett.
