After cooling down, we used the new private showers in the main building. They had a neat feature of a fold down sitting stool after you closed the door. It was a good use of space. Cindy checked the email in the room sat up in the main building, while I strolled around taking pictures. Despite the heat, this was a nice park.

The store was packed with merchandise and everything I could think of for the camper was available. The hosts checked back with us often to see if we were having a good time and asked if we needed anything. They said this was their slow season (because of the heat). I remember thinking it was a shame, because this park had everything and with the pool.... oh well, I was going to enjoy myself anyways.
By the evening, the humidity had subsided, helped tremendously by the large shade trees that cover the park and a nice breeze. I went out to take more pictures and found hundreds of butterflies had ascended upon the park. They were gorgeous.

There were kabins (KOA's call cabins... kabins) that were conveniently located under some of the large shade trees. They had picnic tables, grills and nice porches, with swings. A playground was nearby that would keep the younger folks happy too.

The TV reception wasn't what we hoped for but realized most campers don't spend a lot of time in front of the tube anyways. There were plenty of videos available at the office if one had to get his TV fix.
Overall, this park was a real nice one and would be great for a short or long stay. The sites were nice and the folks were great. We would definitely recommend it to anyone. So when you book your stay this winter make sure you tell them about our review and that we said "Hi!"
