Creekside Inn & RV Park
Ninilchik, AK

I only had a little while, or so I thought, to get pictures of the inn before getting back to pick up Cindy from her Halibut fishing adventure with Roe's Charter service. I took about 75 pictures real quick and then headed the Eagle toward the boat launch.
I ended up waiting about 6 hours for the boat to return. It was fun watching these huge tractors load and unload boats to and from the sea. It also allowed me to get more scenery and animal shots from Alaska. I'd say I have taken around 100,000 photos across Alaska so far.
Read all about Cindy's adventure on the halibut charter after you read this one.
 | Upon returning, I thanked Lesha again for taking me on the tour and being such a sport. Lesha had posed in the sauna for us. She said she uses it regularly although there is little stress working in Alaska. She loves the area and working at the inn. The dining area was very large and we were told to help our selves to drinks from the dispensers any time. Of course, we carry our Pepsi with us wherever we go. We had a large common area with TV/VCR and a large fireplace.
We were in the Eagle room and had a private shower, two queen size beds and bed lamps. We also had a table with chairs to relax at. The sliding glass door led out to the back yard area, where there are campsites. Cindy retrieved our email in the dining room and I relaxed in the sauna. It was perfect. My body was so relaxed afterward that I only wished they had a full time masseuse on call. I was ready. |
For dinner, we went up the road to a diner and had halibut fish and chips, it just seemed appropriate today. Then we went home for the evening and drifted off.
The next morning, we had a continental breakfast with choice of style of eggs. Also there was bacon, sausage or pancakes. There was cold cereals, fruit cocktail, muffins, peanut butter and jellies. The beverages included, coffee, teas and juices.
Contact Lesha and book your stay at this Inn. It's close enough to Homer but not too far from some of the best fishing and scenery around.
