Destiny's Phoenix RV Resort
We arrived late (see our Alert) at the Destiny in Phoenix. We were treated great and told where our site was. The park was well lighted and the sites were larger than we had become used to. We decided to wait and set up the utilities until the morning, although Cindy did go to the Adult Recreation Room to download the email. It was a bright shiny day when we woke. We stepped out to a great park. I hooked up the RV and we took Lexxus for a walk.
We were ahead of schedule when we met with Ceasar, the manager of this Destiny Resort. He offered, and we accepted, another day at the resort. This park had everything. A heated pool and spa, large community room, weight and work out room, loads of walking areas and a private fenced area for pets to take care of their business. Lexxus enjoyed this fenced in area, although she wasn't quite sure how to react when we actually took off her leash and let her run!
The park highlighted southwestern decor and a nice water fountain greets people as they enter the office. A fully stocked convience and gift store is adjacent the office and the laundry room was much larger and had more machines than most of the parks we had stayed. Although it was the middle of winter, the pool was being used by many. The park had also been repaved recently and looked almost brand new. Also this park takes pride in having people complete the comment cards in their registration packets......a sure sign of a winner!
I took hundreds of pictures of the peaceful valley and noticed the valley was largely agricultural. I found out that farms grow alfalfa, cotton, watermelons and broccoli nearby. This park is convienient to Phoenix and all it has to offer, from zoos to businesses and Cindy's favorite... SHOPPING!
