Secret Lake RV Resort
This wonderful RV Resort will be a "Secret" no longer if we can help it! Located on 100 acres just 5 MINUTES from the entrance to Walt Disney World, Epcot Center and all the great Disney attractions, we have found the perfect spot in central Florida.
We researched the Orlando area when we were trying to decide where to spend the time around Thanksgiving. It all paid off by choosing Destiny's Secret Lake Resort. General Manager Randy Hendrickson and his staff made us feel right at home for the next 5 days.
Cindy was ecstatic that we were in a park that was not only "modem friendly", but had instant phone hookups! And cable TV didn't hurt my wish to catch a few games either. The sites are level and widely spaced and have concrete patios. Some also have concrete pads. The entire park is grassy and has lots of trees and open space. The walkways/driveways are paved and wide and easily navigated by any size RV. Restroom and shower facilities are conveniently located throughout the resort.
There is a stocked lake, weight room, shuffleboard, horseshoe pits, volleyball court on the beach and a hammock under the palm trees. The beach front has beautiful white sand which many took advantage of to work on their tans. Faye, the activities coordinator, and her assistant Lynda, kept everyone having fun. Craft sales, pool exercise classes and paddle boats in the lake to mention just a few of the activities. The adult pool and family pool filled up quickly at night and it seems everyone played bingo.
The main lobby has a convenient store, a beverage lounge and tons of coupons and discounts to all the local attractions. Kissimmee really is in the middle of all the big attractions in the Orlando area. From this park you can be "right there"!
Cabin rentals are also available, complete with everything you need.....just bring your personal items and you're ready to explore the Orlando area in style!
All of this is only perfected by the fantastic staff at the Resort. With their attention to detail and friendly attitude, this resort has everything.....including plans for future growth.
