Fourth Day on the Island

Mom and Cindy were up early enough to get the sunrise behind the restaurant at Villas Olas Tropicales and take some great shots of the gardens.....while I slept in....hey.....it was a late night out with Benny!

After breakfast, we headed our separate ways with plans to meet up later. I went to the beach for more photos while Keith took Mom & Cindy to town. Mom had an early afternoon appointment to get her hair done and they planned on some leisurely shopping.......without me tagging along and rushing them!

Stopping first at Sam's Bar & Grille for a refresher, Cindy stayed and visited with Al, talking about places they know in common, while Mom had her hair done. By the time Mom had finished, I had joined them at Sam's and we went to Casa Nelson, the local department store. While walking through town, we came across Benny in the town square and headed off in his air-conditioned van again for a return trip to the New Market and then dinner at La Ponderosa.

After an enjoyable meal, we returned to the B&B and I showed Benny some of the photos we had taken while at Woodstock '99. He did a lot of head shaking and "ahhhh"ing! We have tried to convince him to come to the States for a visit and let us show him around!

Cindy is beginning to suffer withdrawal-from-email symptoms, but it was a nice, leisurely day and we ended once again with a dip in the pool and early to bed to prepare for Day Five.
