Dooger's Seafood & Grill
Long Beach, Washington

While on the Long Beach Peninsula for a couple of days, our host Curt Stephens had organized dinner for us at Doogers in Long Beach. Melissa, his daughter joined us and his wife, Karen for another fantastic evening out.

We started with a great shrimp salad. Of course, Cindy chose to forego the shrimp. She ordered the Fettucini and I picked the Combo Seafood Plate. Oysters, halibut, scallops, prawns and callamari with french fries.

There was so much too eat that no one decided to have dessert, even though the choices had us talking about them for a while. We just enjoyed visiting with the Curt and his family and hearing about Melissa's desires to go to college and enter the marine biology field. It's great to hear from the youth and that they still have such aspirations.

Karen and Curt had to take Melissa to practice a play that she is performing in, so we headed back to space #68 and unfortuanately our last night at Ocean Park RV Resort.

It had been fun on the Peninsula and we knew we'd miss the sites and events during a great summer. Check out Dooger's at 900 South Pacific Ave. in Long Beach or call them at 360-642-4224 .... and be sure to tell them Cruising America says HI!
