This Inn is just off the Short Sands Beach. Dan greeted us and showed us the guest entrance, the large back porch area with loads of lounge chairs for sunning in the back yard, the outside showers for those returning from the beach and then took us inside.
A comfortable common area with fireplace, TV, miniature tea sets and lots of books and magazines was available. We were shown to our room, which had a shared bath, but we had a sink in our room, so didn't mind the shared bath. After settling in, we took off for the beach!
Every evening there are different concerts in the pavilion on the boardwalk. We watched salt water taffy being made at The Golden Rod and stopped in some of the many shops that adorn the ocean line.
That evening we visited on the front porch with other guests up from Falls Church, VA and talked about...what else?...the Internet and watched people heading to and coming from the beach. It was the time for "cruising " and we really enjoyed it. After three weeks on the road, this was the last stop and we were ready to relax.
After breakfast of juice, hot blueberry muffins, cereal and coffee, we headed out. Our stay was delightful and the nearness to the beaches in a town that caters to families makes this a great destination. Be sure to stop by their Website when getting ready to take off for the beach!
