Four guest rooms, the flowers and plants surrounding the inn keep both very busy. There is off-street parking and the inn has a wrap-around porch with a swing, tables & chairs. Huge trees shade the porch and keep the living room cool on summer days. The rooms had TV/VCR's and telephones in the rooms. Cindy was estatic! A telephone and local dialup for Eugene guaranteed lots of work would be done tonight.

The Queen Anne's Lace Room boasted a queen size bed and a pull-out sofa bed, along with a writing desk and chair. Nicole explained that they have a lot of families visit and the sofa bed comes in handy. There was a hair dryer and a butler basket in the bathroom and terry bathrobes in the closet.

The guest rooms are on the second floor and share a refrigerator in the hallway. Downstairs is a well stocked library with books, games, videos and puzzles for guest use. The Oval Door has made available to guests a video rental card for a local video store. The Inn also offers a double jacuzzi room, which can be reserved by the hour. Just sign up outside the door!

We walked into town and ate at a Mederterranean restaurant suggested by Melissa. When we returned, I met Tara Israelson from the Natural Health Center in Eugene. She had come for my massage and I enjoyed it completely. Afterwards, Cindy went to work on the files while I took photos.

The next morning at 7am, coffee and tea were delivered to our door. We had four choices of times to have breakfast. Choosing the earliest, we were joined by one other guest and since both innkeepers had attended culinary schools, we were in for a treat! Along with coffee, tea and grapefruit juice, we started breakfast off with homemade granola, fresh pineapple and strawberries. Next came the main course of breakfast fajitas, sun dried tomato-turkey sausage and cornbread with honey butter.
