You are lucky kids to have leaders that care…
Listen to them carefully, they've got a lot to share…

You've got great leaders, in Shinnston… at the fore….
Listen oh so carefully and become so very much more…

They're trying their best to help you, so listen deep and long…
For if you do and grow up right, Shinnston… is where you BELONG!

The streets need cleaned, vacant lots will be cleared…
The Shinnston… Kids will grow strong this year…

Volunteer to deliver papers, clean a window, here and there…
Keep smiling, keep busy, make Shinnston know YOU CARE…

Cruising around America has been a joy on a very long track…
So listen when I tell you, "Been there and done that!"
