From the time we arrived, practically until the time we left, there were continuous activities going on for the kids and families. It was really nice to see a campground where the parents got involved with their children. Every event was designed with families in mind. What a stop this turned out to be!
The workcampers at this park help tremendously and I can see why they love to work here. It is cornered by a beautiful stream and has large spaces for privacy. There was never a dull moment and I was surprised to see the speed limit was faster, 5 ½ not 5 MPH. Guess you gotta move faster to join in all the fun and be sure you don't miss anything!
You get what you expect from a Yogi Bear Park when you come to Paradise Pines! Mike told us that the kids bring the parents! And one camper, who had been there for a week with his family said that this was the best park they had been to with the kids and they would definitely be coming back. You can't get a better recommendation than that! Mike and Gina pride themselves on the personal service they provide to their campers and it shows.
The next morning breakfast was served to the campers and it happened to be French toast Sunday. The menu varies, but the meal is great and always at a VERY resasonable price. It was a great start to another great day of fun at Paradise Pines. If you are looking for a family outing at a great park we can happily recommend this Jellystone Park!
We would have loved to stay another day, but our schedule demanded that we move on. But, the next time we are in the area, you can bet we'll be stopping by. Paradise Pines is both a modem-friendly and pet-friendly park........just right for us!
Please visit their Website and when you make your reservations.....

Making tye-die shirts started the day off, a beach party with sand-castle competition and beach volleyball followed, next was bingo, a bar-b-q, Yogi made an appearance and then the band, "Crooked Creek" entertained the campers as they sat around the Ranger Station. Plus they kept the store, an ice cream stand and putt-putt golf going. "It'll be like this until Labor Day weekend", said Mike with a big smile on his face. With Gina and Mike criss-crossing the park and with the help of the workcampers they are doing a fantastic job.
